MagiCal: Calendar & Reminders - Powerful Task Manager App Reviews

Beautiful app !!!

Love the look of it, functions well, widget is great....recommend it for sure !!...maybe a couple other views, interesting calendar option... but other than that, great app !!!

Today Widget Calendar

After a bit of a hiatus, the app has been updated and is functional again. However, there are still some rough spots. For example, you cannot view all notes for events, longer notes are truncated with no way to view the rest. Also, the today widget doesnt work at all on iPad and iPhone 6 plus. When it is working (iPhone 6/s only), the today widget with this calendar is very nice; it shows the next two weeks of events and reminders in a compact and useful way. The app itself is very lightweight, and the natural language event entry works pretty well. Hoping for an update to refine the experience.

Nice and useful app

Nice and useful app

Very handy cal/task manager

Seems really good so far. I have tried a few but all of them get complication. Seems like this app is clean and simple but feature rich. There a few bugs to work out though.

Best calendar app

Absolutely love this app! Everything about this app is awesome! Wish there was an iPad app though

Unusable

Crashes on startup.. The name change made it difficult to find ways to contact the developer to report the issue. Version 2.2.1 and previous were perfect.

Вылетает! (iPhone 6+)

Crush! Crush! Crush!

Pure Ripoff of Fantastical

Apps should be about creativity not copying other apps

Eh

Nothing special about this other than it combines the Apple calendar with the Apple Reminder app. So what. No bells or whistles that make me say Wow!

Would Like Ipad Version

Installed on my iphone and liked it. Also installed the iphone version on my Ipad Air2 and it does not work. Would love to have this on both my ipad and my iphone synced.

Pretty cool

Ive been very cynical of so many calendar and to do apps but this one makes sense as it merges the existing apple calendar and task list into one scrollable screen so you see two weeks of calendar view with tasks and appts in a list view below. Task list is far more usable than in apples own orphan app and easier to edit and manage here plus now can do it all with one icon/app

Won me over!

This app handles reminders very well. It also has a dedicated reminder shortcut at the bottom which I like. Natural language entry is great. This app is a breeze to use, unlike the competition, it has no cluttered UI

Improves on fantastical by a bit

Uses portrait view better than competitor and the today, task and week view are user friendly. However there are bugs. Some tasks disappearing and appearing. Most of all the iPhone widget is very flaky. Does not show events or tasks when they exist. Hopefully fixed in future update.

Crashes

Actually like everything this app does if it works. Try to enter calendar appointments/tasks/reminders and when I hit done the app shuts down. If these problems didnt exist...5stars

Cool

OnTop is Cool App. I can check calendar and reminders by widget. But sometimes, widget still disappeared. I think if OnTop fix it, this is best app.

Problem

Thanks for fixing widget(starts week with Monday, how in app) Can are you fix problem with widget, because widgets show incorrect mouth and if i click on the day i see another day of mouth

Please add an iPad version

I really like this app, but it could definitely use a full iPad version to use between devices.

Someone got it right finally

Native calendar needs a major update... Reminders and calendar should be on same app...duh.... This app nailed it while keeping it simple this is what the native app should be like

Great App

I think this is a great calendar app, probably the best Ive used so far, especially it being compared to fantastical which is 5 bucks! An amazing app considering its free, would love if you guys added a version for the Mac, other than that keep up the great work,

In-app purchases

This app use to be the best calendar app in the app store. I use it instead of the actual apple calendar that comes standard but then you had to start charging for add-ons. Most of these calendar features are already available for free from other sources. So why would I pay you for them?
